After decades in the coffee importing business, founder Lowell Grosse established Charleston Coffee Roasters on a simple premise: a city like Charleston deserves a coffee that reflects its originality, concern for the environment and attention to quality.

From the onset, Charleston Coffee Roasters realized brewing a good cup of coffee could be good for our community. In fact, longtime support of SC Aquarium’s Sea Turtle Rescue program is cleverly reflected in its logo.
