Premium Pet Provisions
From selling handcrafted dog collars at Charleston’s City Market, to four local retail outposts, Dolittle’s has been a destination for premium pet provisions dating back to 1994. After collaborating on multiple creative and promotional projects over the years, founder Ric Sommons approached Gee Creative for visual and online updates to commemorate its 25th anniversary.
Though Dolittle’s had an excellent reputation and loyal customer base, it was in need of an identity refresh, and a more strategic, transactional web presence.
To start, Gee Creative developed a new identity package that incorporated elements from its original logo design. Armed with whimsical sketches from the uber-talented owner, Gee Creative proposed modern color and updated typography palettes along with a comprehensive graphical toolkit, including templates, a pattern and icon library, fonts and alternate logos. And with the start of the COVID pandemic, Gee Creative designed, developed and delivered a modern eCommerce website to serve Dolittle’s customers who were unable to shop in-person.
